I happen to place more value in them than assigning them to a two week holiday season.
Iām trying to nicely tell you that Christmas is an emotional time for people who may or may not have lost loved ones.
Just let it be.

You donāt have to like all of it. You can have a good time with your friends and family while simultaneously not liking the pressure put on families to spend over the top etc. Or the intense marketing or all the twee shite that goes with it or the same movies on repeat.

when you are married there are two families to spend time with. Two sets of friends etc. Itās not as easy or straightforward as you make out in your little head

Just on this, Governments donāt get a pass on an issue just because there are also other things on. They donāt get to say sorry weāre not looking at Brexit today because weāre preoccupied with Leoās latest leak.

But in a worldwide pandemic, discretionary international travel is a the very, very bottom of priorities
Give us a list of the priorities in order there.
International travel by plane is very low risk and has been proven to be so.
Most people travelling internationally do so for an essential purpose, not to party in a locked down country.
