IHURTPALM[/quote]
Did anybody get it?

Callum is triumphal over Dylan.

126 to 116, trouncing my 51 points total. What a match. What a standard.

A great trophy for the winner. Reminiscent of the World Darts Championship trophy.

A very appropriate conundrum. They were like two gladiators locked in battle the whole way through. Magnificent contest.

Great way to remember Richard Whiteley too.

One of the great battles. It was like Nicklaus and Watson at Turnberry in 1977, LeMond and Fignon in the '89 Tour, Liverpool and Arsenal in the 88/89 Football League, Dublin and Meath in 1991 all rolled into one.

They were only separated once throughout the entire show- and that was by the conundrum. Astonishing stuff. I’d say Callum’s plan was to buzz as soon as the conundrum was revealed, completely trusting himself to solve it in the the two seconds he would have to answer. That’s the standard.

Go and lie down for a while Sid

There is an absolute head the ball competing on the show today:D

Enjoying the bank holiday?

We have a lady contestant from Nenagh in today’s series final. Have we ever had an Irish Countdown champion?

Saw her earlier this month, she’s quite good.

Trailing by 15 points at the break. Was ahead but had a bad last two rounds.

Lost 117-87. Ireland’s wait for the Richard Whiteley Memorial Trophy goes on.

Was she playing a guy called Dan by any chance? I saw him the other day and he’s unbeatable.

Was the winner not from Northern Ireland?

I though Antoinette acquitted herself very well. That last numbers game was very well answered. Not quite as good as last year’s never to be forgotten classic but an enjoyable final nonetheless.
