Coursing 2010/11 - The Road to Clonmel

Yes, but we run the risk of getting nothing then. I was about to ring them after seeing Runty’s post. So is the Park a non-runner for now?

btw great to see Soundmanpaddys ad in the Sporting Press. Best of luck with it to all concerned, i hope it goes well.

We’ll get it sorted the week before.
They won’t book out and will come crawling back to us begging for custom.

If they can’t take a joke that’s their problem…

I may look into insulating the back of the car and cutting a mattress to fit if accommodation is that tricky.

There’s got to be some class of a B & B available. Very naive waiting till mid January for accomodation. There was a single room available in a city centre hotel available for €50 a night during the festival as late as the end of December.

SS, there’ll be no fear of us

I have the wagon kitted out in preperation of the festival.

Could you run a microwave off the cigarette lighter socket if you got the necessary adapters? A small gas burner would be essential to heat the beans and toast the bread anyway.
I may even bring a diesel generator and run everything off it.

No Sky Dogs on this year during Clonmel. Swindon have pushed the Arc to March…

It won’t be the same without Sky Dogs.
I don’t think there was Sky Dogs in 09 either. We will be at a loose end for the night so.
Is there anything good on in the cinema?

Yes I believe there is a showing of a rare 60mm print of Man About Dog, the director’s cut.

Accomodation sorted. B)

We’ll be there for the whole week, including the callover on the Sunday night though will only stay in Clonmel two of the nights.

Have we to have tickets or anything now for the callover?

:pint: :pint: :pint: Now I have to go through SS’s list of essentials and source what I dont have.

Nah there’s no tickets, you just walk into the big reception room in the Minella and start drinking, what nights are you staying?

Sunday night and Tuesday night.

We will drive back to Tour on the Monday evening for a bit of decent homemade grub and a shower. Back to Clonmel on the Tuesday morning then for a day of punting and :pint:

What nights are you staying SS**?

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. The depression on Wednesday evening driving home is something wicked.
I would say I’ll head to the track one of the nights aswell. Usually good open stakes on.

Are you going to the Ladies International on the Sunday Dunph? I don’t think I’ll make it.

Yes the track isn’t a bad idea. No i won’t be at the Ladies International.

So confirmed for the callover so far we have:

SS**
MAD
The Runt
2RE
The Dunph

Well spotted Puke, only one person can drive at a time.

I am not going to the call over Dunph.
You know that, now please remove me from that list.
