Dodo Deal, trial stake winner in Trim got to the final of the cup on Saturday up in Sligo. Was then bought by John Flynn (11k) and withdrawn from the final, giving Flynns High and Mighty the cup.
Ballyhill Tenet, and August Ballymac Maeve pup, winner of the cup in East Donegal, took a trialstake also above in Sligo, he has also been sold, not sure who too.

Bad news, i am 90% sure i wonât be able to attend any of the coursing this year.

I heard from a man at the weekend (MAD) that he is definitely above in Newry.
Also as regards the Derby sweep I am conducting, I will be making the draw for numbers at some stage today.
Entries have been limited to 8, so apologies to those that didnât get an invite to join it but it filled up with a few offline fans of the leash.
On board we have Myself, SS, MAD, RTT, The Dunph, Offline Participant B, Offline Participant C, Offline Participant D.
I will be numbering the first 32 courses, 1 to 32 (logical enough), so everybody will be entitled to 4 numbers. I also propose splitting the numbers into two groups, 1-16 and 17-32 and each participant will get two numbers from each pot (so as to avoid people ending up with all 4 dogs on the same side of the draw).
The draw for numbers is being conducted in advance of the Clonmel draw so as the integrity of the competition is not called into the question.
If you draw two consecutive numbers, e.g. 1 and 2, tough shit
It will be winner takes all but obviously there is nothing precluding a deal being done by remaining participants at any stage.
Once I have drawn the numbers I will set up a new thread.
