Just a quick update- I just had a bananaā€¦ My core, glutes and adductors all need strengthening, palā€¦ I fucked my adductor last season and as a result my glutes had to make up for it in the last 4/5 gamesā€¦ Iā€™ve been largely sat behind a computer for 12 hrs a day for the last 3 months so that whole area needs work.

I suggest sitting in front of the computer from now on. Much handier actually being able to see the screen and youā€™ll work far more efficiently.

500 crunches and 250 leg raises and then 3 km in 14:24, I absolutely emptied the fucker, thatā€™s actually Olympic standard, I gave it to it, cycling home then I saw a lad at a bus-top ateing fish and chips out of a newspaper wrapping and thought to myself, ā€œpoor bastardā€

My shoulders and triceps are fuckedā€¦ Thatā€™s a decent workout and exactly what I need at the minute. Couple of birds leaving me for dead didnā€™t do much for the ego but Iā€™ll learn em, Iā€™ll learn em good and proper.

TRX is the only thing stopping me from turning into a right fat cunt. Got a couple of straps and hung them out in the garage. half an hour a day to get it going keeps it tipping over, just about! Just find it a very quick and easy way to get some work done when I dont have much time to spare. Some right good stuff to work on the legs too, sorts you out good and proper. mountain climbers at full blast for 2 minutes sorts the men from the boys.

I can imagineā€¦tho youā€™d want to be mixing it up with other activities. There was a wan in there, goes twice a day for 30mins, who destroyed me but Iā€™d murder her on a pitch or if she wanted a deadlift off. Iā€™m gonna learn her if itā€™s the last thing I do.

yeah in an ideal world youā€™d be doing a heap of other shit, but 7 a side once a week and a few sprinting sessions is as much as Iā€™d fit in nowadays.

Thatā€™s nearly enough Iā€™d imagine if you were doing a couple of trx sessions.

Seeing at itā€™s a Friday in June I fucked off out of work today @ 1:15pm. Thatā€™s my routine until sept when the schools, hospitals and most other places go back after the June, July and August go slow. Anyhow I was under serious pressure to fit in a traing session with our minors ( exams fucked up our prep) and didnā€™t an elderly neighbour pop his clogs, or as the club chairperson put it , went to his eternal reward, and fair play to him he timed it nicely to have the fixture put off until next week. So therefore leaving me to have a few leisurely pints on a Friday evening.
Iā€™ll crunch the fuck out of the wife later on.
