You’ll probably have a few kids with a few burners for when the main phone is pouched away

Of course you will, but they can have no excuse if it’s found and they’ve another in the pouch.

Honest to God the pouches were laughed at due to the cost but it was a once off, not a yearly subscription, they would certainly make some difference, in many schools now the DLP is practically a full time role due to problems stemming from mobile phone use

So the pouches are being used and are assisting attention span growth with the caveat that teachers have the added burden policing pouching activities

No bother engineering in South Armagh

Stop comparing them to others for own ego and send them off on a path that suits their skills not our own views of what good looks like

Kids need your time, not your money is the ethos I try to abide by.

True I nudged my kid to teach
Got his degree etc
But now is following his dream of being a sports photographer
He’s been at it for years locally in a voluntary basis
Paid by another team from Munster last 2 years and did a few international women’s games at the behest of the FAI
Now he just past the first interview for full time photography position
( they knew : know of him a few years)
His dream job, good kid working before during and after college all to attain his dream,
Obviously I helped with camera gear etc but ge donated big time
So you’re bang on the money ref letting and trusting your chums to do his own thing
And to follow their dreams,
He’d work for nothing to photograph sport
Mostly soccer,
But did Munster women’s aswell
His stuff has a great following
He’s no ego,
A good looking fit boy who’s solely concentrated on his ambitions

He’s everything i wasn’t for years

Thanks boy
Appreciate it

While I agree with that I think you need to steer them properly as well.

I know of a few people around the 30 mark who are pricking about either with no job or a part time job and being supported by their parents.

Why? They claim mental health issues and the parents indulge it. Tough love is needed in many instances.

Completely agree with that. Was more talking about parents pushing little johnny to college for their own ego when he is clearly not suited

Eddie O Hare was a school mate
He did good
But I remember him in the rain soaked so years
GAA soccer didn’t matter
Twas a passion first

Think most photographers I know in general are introverts
Solitary ppl
But their passion for photography pushed them out into mainstream media etc
Line anything else in life
You gotta grab it by the bollox

Yep but being honest you don’t realise this until sometimes years later that they’re all individuals
Need different approaches
