Cycling 2013

Just watched highlights on Eurosport. Camera work brutal. Not one close up of Martin all day and no interview afterwards. Great win for him. Where’s he from anyway?

The cycling stronghold of Ireland.

England.

His mother is Stephen Roche’s sister.

That didn’t instil any confidence in me, either.

Winding up to an exciting finish at the Ronde. 18km to go…Spartacus, Sagan and EBH winding it up now.

Cancellara rides Sagan off his wheel on the last climb…he’ll be hard bet now, he looks incredibly strong.

Great win. Horse of a man. Sagan got a lesson today

On SS2 now or Eurosport in 2mins. Some horror climbs in this race

Ha ha ha!
Peter Sagan has apologised for pinching the arse of one of the podium girls at the end of the Tour of Flanders stage.

Welcome to yesterday lads

Ya tool! I had that up before your picture.

This forum is built on pictures, no picture, no party.

Spartacus wins a thriller in Roubaix just pipping Sep Vanmarcke in the finish after the usual action packed race. You’d have to feel sorry for Zdenek Stybar who was going great guns with the leading duo when a spectator knocked him out of his stride about 15k from the finish.

Watched the last 25km of Roubaix. Cracking entertainment.

Did you boys know that yesterday’s lanterne rouge was Chris Juul-Jensen who hails from County Wicklow? Just saw it on another forum. He’s a neo-pro (I think) for Saxo-Tinkoff. He lived in Ireland till he was 16, rode for Sorrento Cycling Club, but I think he rides as Danish now. He seems like an alright sort, judging by his twitter.

Dan Martin wins Liege Baston Liege. First Irish classic winner sine Kelly in 92.

Last km:

The beauty of his victory slightly tainted by the guy in the panda costume, but fuck, that was great

He was 16/1. I was going to put a couple of euro on him while lying idly in bed earlier and all, but didn’t.

Fabulous!!
What a year he is having

Hmmm, so what did you do instead?

Actually don’t answer that

I had a fiver on Tipp -5 and KK -1 so I did nothing except roll over and bemoan how bad my hangover was.
