Yates crashes on the decent. Ouch!

Valverde has 7" over the other three - 2km to go

Valverde has it. 12 seconds under the kite

Valverde wins - well done @balbec

Mollema 2nd
Rodriguez 3rd

Hope you did Rodriguez e/w

Both each way, so won feck all but at least didn’t lose I suppose.

Bizarre happenings in Ladies CWG road race, as 2 English birds are out in front. Armitstead 16 seconds ahead of Poole who’s 30 seconds ahead of chasers. But both English girls have a camera motor bike directly in front of them for last 12km. BBC commentators briefly mentioned it once but it’s an obvious advantage

Unfortunately Australia’s Tiffany Cromwell was edged out into 4th

Lovely, but she’s likely mad as a bag of frogs.

Day 1 of the Tour de Munster over. Waterford to Kilaloe. Blessed with the weather, hammer drops from Carrick to Clonmel and from the railway tracks to Birdhill. Kelly in great form.

Day two done and dusted. Rain all the way to Ennis, brightened up after that. Great hammer for 20km between listowel finishing in Tralee. Head wind made it tough.

A rock of sanity like myself would never have a chance with her…:frowning:

:frowning:

How many km per day are ye doing? Sounds like serious going. Many doing it?

Not too bad this year @TreatyStones, around 150km a day. Before there was a couple of days up around the 180/190km mark on Tours past, too long. A group of us cycled from Cork to Waterford via the Copper Coast on Wednesday too for about 125km.
Connor Pass and Molls Gap today will sort out the men from the boys!! 115 doing it.

Watch out for midges if you stop. Little fuckers would eat you alive on the Conor pass if its calm.

That is some going btw. Go n’eiri an bothar libh.

Two of them in the one day? Nice!
