So all of those breeds are perfectly placid then?
By the way Alsatians should never form part of this discussion. They are a fantastic dog.

Thatâs up to dog owners to fund, not the general public.
A significant percentage of the population are afraid of dogs and would actively avoid parks and the likes because of the selfishness of dog owners.
Plenty of parts of the world do this and it is a success.
That is just one of the reforms Iâd bring through and the mildest really.
Yes and walkers should fund footpaths and hospital users should fund hospitals
100%
Again, itâs back to the owner. If the owner has 100% recall on their dog there is certainly no issue letting the dog off the lead.
The worry is, where your dog has the training but thereâs an asshole letting off theirs with none, then you got an issue. This can happen in a spilt second. This is the problem with dog parks. Dogs are like people, thereâs cunts amongst them and just because you have a âniceâ dog it donât necessarily mean they will like other âniceâ dogs automatically
Shure what could possibly go wrong
They are agile, athletic, even-tempered, intelligent, loving, well-muscled and trained to be lethal bodyguards. The perfect pet, in fact, for a paranoid billionaire
Dog parks not the answer, first of all thereâs usually (in my experience) less than 100m to run in any direction, most importantly theyâd let off dogs that shouldnât be off the lead
My lab will never ignore me, gentle as a lamb,
The terrier is less predictable, hates men on scooters or electric bikes, doesnât like greyhounds and will take off where her instincts tell her to, so we need to be very careful, usually far from civilisation, which is very unfortunate for her but needs must
terrier is less predictable
Well itâs a lesson in animal instincts, the lab us the ultimate companion dog, wants to do everything with me, not greatly interested in other dogs and will never run away from my call, just loves being with me/us
The terrier is a super dog but her instincts are to hunt and dig etc, if she has a scent she doesnât give a shit about me
Then youâve those fancy dogs like Mikes above, youâd be as well off with a cat,

Jayses youâre one sensitive wanker
Thatâs not the same thing.
We are talking about dogs here. Close to 10% have some fear of dogs.
Why is their enjoyment of public parks impacted so dogs can run around? The fact is that it is monopolising the use of the them with dogs off lead where they can roam.
I can be persuaded that if small segments of the park are gated off that it is okay, but dog parks are the best way to do it.

Nonsense.
Dogs off lead roam around.
The âheâs harmlessâ brigade donât seem to get that a lot of children (in particular) have a fear of being approached at all.
And no, the solution is not to train people are dogs. Thatâs not their responsibility.
Dogs are largely a hobby, said hobby should not monopolise large public spaces.
It is perfectly possible for that hobby to be enjoyed and for others to be respected. Iâve had dogs over the years in the US and wouldnât dream of letting them off lead. It is an extreme faux pas as well as against regulations.
If the owner has 100% recall on their dog there is certainly no issue letting the dog off the lead.
All dogs?
You havenât read what I posted. If you did you wouldnât post that nonsense.
Quote or read the whole post.

I dont think ive ever see a dog warden. Do they exist?
Are they sick of the Ukrainian in the spare room yet?
Are you sick of the same old lines for 2 years, always makes me roll the old eyes
