This guy on about 100k a year. Does he know anything about sport i wonder?

Shur Des Cahill has been held up by RTÉ as Ireland’s premier sporting enthusiast for decades and he phoning it in without interest.

Sure he has nothing to lose :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Darren is on 100K a year?

As Darren twitter bio says “ I look I listen I tell stories”

That sort of stuff don’t come cheap

If not more.

The market dictates

If they didn’t pay the Dazzler the big bucks Sky would probably swoop in for him. Co

I’d say about 85k. Might be wrong.

Joe (whoever Joe is) on VM1 just told us that it was an epic battle last night at the Emirates betweeen Man City and RM. Joe sailed blithely along.

7:35 Bulletin this morning and Darren was back to his best. Showed admirable composure when discussing the previous nights stunning events in the Champions League. Then he let a blunder slip as he stated that Limerick U20’s advanced to the All-Ireland where they will face Kilkenny. Now he probably will be correct in time but harsh enough on Wexford all the same who will be Kilkenny’s opponents in next Monday’s Leinster U20 Final.

Heard the 7.35 sports bulletin this morning where the great Darren proclaimed what a great night it had been for Rangers as they had beaten Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-final of the Europa League. They’ll be in through the backdoor for the final to meet Rangers again.

Just caught the result of the hurling match there a few minutes ago off Darren on Sunday Sport.

Limerick 3-21 Tipperary 0-22 - a 7 point win for Limerick according to Darren.

“The difference between the sides Joanne in the u20 game between Kerry and Tyrone was of course Ruairi Cavanagh of Tyrone with 8 (Eight) points with Tyrone winning in a 1-14 to 1-12 score line.
Ruairi is of course the son of Peter and brother of Darragh.
Ruair Canavan i mean - apologies”
