Darren Frehill Mistake Watch

Heard that alright and was fairly sure he had it wrong but wasn’t 100%.

Darren’s repeated errors keep the mind ticking over.

Disappointed he wasn’t given responsibility to oversee the 2024 football championship draw on Saturday. We could have had a few more additions to this thread.

So Tullamore got awarded a penalty which they failed to score?

Seems like Darren is on firm ground here, and you’re merely nitpicking. Stop nitpicking.

Oliver Callan just gave a much more comprehensive county final review in the intro to his show. Spoke about the Monaghan, Cavan and Louth finals. He had a lovely interaction with a Finglas "hats, flags and headbands"man in Clones.

Heard that. Nice piece. I think Patrick Kavanagh played for Inniskeen.

I heard that as well. But why only the counties around where he is from?

There is still something immensely dislikeable about that Callan fella in my opinion.

The forwards went by in twos and threes

Ball Bag will have him banned from future pressers for that.

It finished Man City 2 v Everton 1 at Goodison on Wed night, he must have turned off before Silva got the third for City.

Des just announced that Carlton Palmer had scored for Chelsea v Wolves. Quite the feat at 58 years of age.

RTÉ had a compliance “expert” on the 1 o clock news. He was asked what a new chair of RTÉ would want to be in place before they took the job. The “expert” said a new chair would need to wait to read the Grant Thornton to assess the culture in RTÉ. The report is due out in March says your man. Gavin Jennings says the Niamh Brennan report? No says your man the Grant Thornton report.
He then proceeds to talk about the remuneration committee or “Remco” as he calls them. Their current terms of reference are not on the RTÉ website. Only the old ones. That’s never a good sign for an organization he says.

Five minutes after he finishes Gavin Jennings is back on to clarify. There are going to be no further Grant Thornton reports and the remuneration committees current terms of reference are available on the RTÉ website.

Darren. Absolutely Not! Derry have blown them away. 2-19 to 1-8. Thirteen points… and the final score again 2-19 to 1-9.

Louth were a point up at HT
