Not much farther until the Leinster draw is made.
Sounds like certain Clare folk have lost their moral compass. Luckily they have those expensive GPS units
This oulâ bidness keeps rumbling along. The Wexicans will have to dig deeperâŚ
Wexford hurling manager Davy Fitzgeraldâs rates bill clash may prove his toughest yet
Sounds like he doesnât
Galvin is an utter dickhead. He was given the benefit of the doubt an awful lot here and he fucked up something rotten. Prick. And is happy to go to the media about it all since. He is the cause of the football squad losing a number of players and thinks that he is ownership of them even after throwing lads off a panel. He couldnt manage one of the worst football teams in the county and goes on like he was badly wronged. An absolute clownshoe.
Galvin spot on there youâd have to say.
Davy must have been fair desperate if he was bringing in lads that werenât good enough for football
He has fairly nailed him. Bang on about the sift powers and talking out of both sides of his mouth
Galvin trying to have it both ways there.
Dropping footballers to make a statement.
Then crying about Davy calling some discarded footballers into the hurling squad.
Itâs none of Galvinâs business.
And then saying he didnât have access to Ferns.
But bemoaning how he kept seeing the discarded footballers training with the hurlers in Ferns when he was, eh, in Ferns with the footballers.
Clown.
Wexford Wexford Wexford.
Iâd say youâve nailed it there. Heâs away with the faeries.
he dropped three starters as a way of making his mark. One was the captain, one was a regular starter for years and the other was arguably our best player for the last 5 years. All had played underage hurling for Wexford at some point, but two of them were called into the hurling set up. The other one, Daithi Waters had previously given a year with the senior hurlers before going back to the football set up. Davy had less than fuck all to do with Galvin being a complete and utter disaster. More footballers in the meantime have defected to the hurling squad.
Why did he quit again? Work commitments or family circumstances changed? It seemed like a wishy washy excuse at the time.
So it was.
Galvin knows itâll play well for him to hint at outside forces being his downfall, his own account of how he came to get the job in the first place was a bit all over the place too
Davy wonât like the âsoft powerâ jibe.
Expect him to hit back the night Wexford are knocked out of the championship.
Did he move out of Dublin and said travel commitments etc
He is living in Mayo. Think the wife is from up there
Two of the most unlikeable personalities to come out of the gaa in the last 30 years. lâm delighted to see them scrapping and humiliating themselves in public. Great stuff.
I actually agree with Davy for once. Wexford wonât get much success at football tbf. Galvin is a cunt no less. Wexford are the strongest hurling county that doesnât border tipp
