have to laugh on one hand people saying what Davy did was harmless, and on the other that Forde hit him or struck him or assaulted him. Fuck sake, they barely shoved each other for a brief second. Forde shouldnt be suspended. He shouldnt have got involved but fuck sake, he should not get suspended over something as harmless as that. Davy was wrong to go on the field like he did, and that would be the reason for his suspension, not the tippy tappy push that he was involved with.

Wasnât there an incident in the football championship three or four years back where a player hit a Physio a shoulder late on in a game. Canât recall who was involved.

A yellow card at worst for Forde and a four-week ban for Davy would have addressed this and sent out the correct message.

Armagh player, Aaron Findon threw shoved the Donegal Doctor to the ground.
I donât think there was a suspension. Typical Northern bias.
Itâs 8 weeks. Time for everyone to move on and for Wexford GAA to ensure Davy doesnât enter the field of play again.
Itâs 8 weeks for causing a physical infraction with a player.
4 weeks for coming onto the pitch and abusing an official.
Itâs done. Move along⌠If Tom Terrific can accept what was wrongly done to him, Davy can accept this and become a better manager and person.

Davy shouldnât be suspended - what did he do for fuck sake? Should Kirwan be allowed to ride rough shod over the rules? If OâMeara and Forde had been minding their own business there wouldâve been no issue.
