Youāve lads claiming a deal is signed based on a tweet by a parody GAA account. āWell known locally that heās signed etcā. 'A deal has already been done etc. āThe process was initiatedā, āthings are at an advanced stageā.
Sure there couldnāt have been any advances from Galway with Davy still the incumbent in Wexford. That would breach the GAAās Code of Conduct against the tapping up of managers.
Interesting if that is the case with Cyril Farrel tapping him up for Galway yet Jim Bolger and Cyril are very good mates, and Bolger was of course critical of the way Davy had Wexford hurling early in the season. Be convenient for Bolger if Davy chooses Galway over Wexford, with the help of his good mate Cyril.
