Yes he works harder but thatâs Di Mariaâs game. Give me an example of when Di Maria was braver. He doesnât come close to producing as much in an attacking sense as Messi does
It wouldnât be hard to produce as much as Messi in an attacking sense in the crunch games as Messi produces fuck all in these games.
Stones is shite in the EPL and in Europe. Everton have shipped 5-goals to teams from Ukraine with him at the back. Heâs also shite internationally, utterly useless in the European U21 championships in the summer. Van Dijk has a 100% EPL clean sheet record.
Yeah Juventus pissed their holes laughing at him in 99 indeed.
One swallow doth not make a summer.
Keane couldnât even cut it with the mechanics and posties of Clyde FC.
#laughingstock
Dead right, Inter Milan beaten as well that season and dragged Ireland to the World Cup in 2002 with the type of performances that youâre criticising Messi for failing to put in.

Robbie Keane and Jason McAteer dragged Ireland to the 2002 World Cup.
Roy Keane was a peripheral figure bar a fluky deflected goal in the home draw against Portugal.
How did a conversation about Messi spiral into a discussion on Jason McAteer out of interest? I canât be arsed reading the last 60 posts.
Some lunatic said Roy Keane was a great player and better than Pirlo who I said was better than Messi. I helpfully clarified that Roy Keane was fairly useless and Jason McAteer had a better international career than him.
Thanks mate. Canât say I agree with it all but Iâll happily sit and observe.
Queen bottled it before he had to face the big boys in the World Cup. Ireland got on fine without him.
United got on fine without him when they made it to the Champions League final, Queen was ordinary and is a joke figure on the continent. Heâs known as the guy who got destroyed by a traffic warden in the Scottish Cup.
Shocking lack of credit for Damien Duff who was by far and away the dominant player on the field when we beat Holland in Lansdowne road.
He wasnât really a regular in that campaign.
50 posts since I last logged in on this thread, fishing worthy of the Raven in his day
agree
Keane was viewed as a leader on the pitch and the father figure for the younger stars around him at United. In reality his perceived achievements and the success of United was more resultant of the talented group of young players like Scholes, Giggs, Beckham, Neville etc. and some shrewd signings from Ferguson.
The fact is Keane was quite a technically limited footballer whose greatest skill was the ability to bully and intimidate the players on his own team, the opposition and the officials. He would not last 5 minutes at a top level club these days where his dangerous tackles and personal vendettas would not be tolerated by the officials or the club.
Wonderful stuff.
No heâs not. Michael Platini is the all time top goal scorer in European Championship finals with 9 (all scored in just the one tournament -1984), followed by Alan Shearer on 7.
Zlatan (in three tournaments) is one of plethora of players (including Nuno Gomez) who have scored 6,
Zlatan will be the record holder by the close of next summer and I will resign from the forum if that is not the case.
What an utter capitulation. Presented with some basic facts, youâve now moved from Zlatan is one of the all time top scorers to Zlatan will be the record holder by the close of next summer.
