Dental advice

I’ve been to Istanbul recently for implants. Back over in October for completion of work. So far I have been very impressed. They won’t be beaten on price. PM me if you want more details.

Id agree i was there last year, great spot, definitely recommend it. I found the people to be the same as any other former soviet block, seem cold at first but are incredibly friendly once you get past the initial meeting

What’s Turkish for ‘ two eggs in a hanky ‘?!

I have $25000 worth of implants in my upper mouth. That was fun.

Has anybody ever got a molar shaved or filed down slightly? Is it an easy job?

I had a filling put in the lower right molar last week and my bite feels off since, it’s unbalanced, like the filling is slightly too high - this molar is now the only tooth that makes contact with the upper teeth when I try to close the upper and lower teeth together. It’s irking me. My next appointment isn’t for another four weeks and while I could probably struggle on until then I think I’d prefer to have the matter resolved quicker than that.

No wisdom tooth ever came up on my lower right and the tooth on the other side of it had to be extracted about seven years ago so the tooth is standing on its tod where it is which I think leads to a lot of pressure on that particular tooth.

Yea, they’ll grind it down easy and probably do it for free.
When they ask you to relax the gob and bite after a filling. You really need to let the lower jaw get super relaxed. I found it difficult after the anaesthetic.

Won’t even need to be given anaesthetic for that. In and out in a few minutes.

The clicking is fierce annoying when that happens. Shudders.
