Mad handball by Bitton there. Lucky to avoid a second yellow.
Nice bit of bile in this.
Trouble with the ref is like the alloa game, he’s allowing nasty snide tackles by hearts go unpunished.
We’ve given them a route back into it here. Very frustrating. They’re dangerous from set pieces too so don’t want to be letting them get a foothold in our half to win corners/freekicks.
Hatate covers some amount of ground.
It’s another one of those games where we’ve 70%-75% possession but it was 3 yellows for us and 1 for them until they’ve picked up 2 in quick succession there.
The ref is a cunt tbh. Some nasty studs up ignored.
Ah here. Fuck off.
Boyce hits the inside of the post from the joke penalty decision.
My god
That was a fucking disgraceful penalty award in any case. He ignored a far more clearcut one against hearts a few minutes ago.
Huns still goalless at home to Livingston
Never a peno that was
1-0 now the cunts
We need a sub here. Forrest has been poor. I’d consider Scales on playing ahead of Taylor. O’Riley also looking very leggy now.
Yeah could do with Scales for a bit of height back there if nothing else. McCarthy doesn’t seem to be trusted with Bitton on yellow but again we need Bitton for his height maybe.
McCarthy on for the impressive O’Riley
Celtic looking a bit gassed
Beaton did his best at the end for hearts.
Good second half from hearts.
That’s an excellent three points.
Could have done without switching off completely for their first goal. Lazy push by Starfelt but then we seemed to pause and watch instead of attacking the ball or defending the space properly.
Ended up defending very deep but other than the penalty from nothing we didn’t really let them have any chances. They didn’t even really get a shot in that last period and that’s something we were really struggling with earlier in the season.
A fine win though with a depleted squad in a difficult fixture.
Thought Giakoumakis was excellent for last half hour or so. McCarthy had a couple of nice interventions and Bitton and CCV were very strong. And hopefully we’ll get stronger with Hatate and O’Riley getting up to speed for a full 90 minutes.
