Dunno. We looked in trouble every time they played a ball over our fairly high back line, and corners were a constant anxiety, especially with a ref desperate to give a pelanty.

That’s a massive win. We saw out the last part of the game very well but it was hairy enough for a while around the time of the penalty. I even got a relax reminder on my Garmin watch.

Carter-Vickers has been excellent for us. Starfelt gets a tough time, with some criticism unmerited, but it was CCV who was providing the assurance and strength back there.
We didn’t let them win anything from those corners or crosses though. Ideally we’d have had more control but I thought we defended the backs to the wall style well once we were forced into it.
Anyone got the hatate goal? I missed it.
Gia had a great battle with soutar. Didn’t take a backwards step, and what a finish. The highest class.
Yeah agreed. I thought Starfelt had a good game, with one maybe two poor moments but CCV was generally outstanding. Was at fault for the corner for their penalty though but otherwise was very assured.

Yeah he did. Just screened it well and got into good positions to break up their attacks.
Forrest is frustrating. Cut in on his right and flail aimlessly wide.

Much ado about nothing
I worry that hatate will run himself into the ground, or an injury, or equally likely get clogged under the nose of a lenient referee.
