I cycle extensively and walk up stairs - that’s enough exercise. I need to get from 26 to 25 on the index if it’s the last thing I do. But I will not sacrifice my 15 pints of Beck’s on Fridays for it.

I bought two big bags of nuts there earlier as I’ve been hearing/reading about their benefits. Almonds which I will try to incorporate into my breakfast as I often have porridge and walnuts which I will try to snack on at work. I mentioned I wanted to wean myself off eating bread every single day and it’s started well as I’ve had no bread in three days. I brought in a load of grapes to work which filled me both days and tomorrow I will bring a banana with the walnuts. Will be interesting to see how long this continues as it is unchartered territory for me
