I need something, bro. Energy levels are fine and diet is good so don’t think the vegan route is the answer. I should probably stop doing cocaine at the weekend for a start.

going to google recreating it at home but should be straightforward - had it with extra pancetta but without it is under 320 calories and it was huge

Filling? I’m making myself a big salad for lunch about three days a week these days. Spinach, quinoa, carrot, beetroot, avocado, chicken, tomato, pepper, seeds, feta, drop of oil and balsamic or some pesto.
Yeah really filling. It was a big portion. Strawberries and blueberries work very well in a salad.
Anyone any advice on Electrolyte drinks? A lot of stuff on the internet about so I thought I would ask the good folks here about them.

they are combination of Water, salt and Fruit juice, citris juices are best supposedly. They replace electrolytes that are lost through sweating to keep the energy levels up and are suppose to be a better energy drink than the lucozade or other such energy on the market. Thats about it. Just wondering if there are any products on the market where can buy an electrolyte tablet similar to the vitiman c tablets or berroca boost tablets that you add to water?
Dioralyte sachets are cheap and available in any chemist. You add one to a glass for water. Matches the body’s natural electrolytes. Taste isn’t great. Electrolytes are basically a mixture of salts so taste isn’t great. That’s why most commercial drinks throw in a load of sugar and flavouring. There are tablets available alright that you put in water. I can’t remember a name but have seen them in local bike shop
Generally these drinks are only really needed if you’re exercising for over 1.5 hours. I reckon the fact that citrus juices are better is bullshit. Probably something about their anti oxidant qualities but evidence would be tenuous at best.

Yeah I wouldn’t be drinking them when training but when I am playing matches I wouldnt mind having one. So far this year I havent played a singles match that has been less than 2 hours.
Get an empty bottle and fill it with half apple juice, half water, and a pinch of salt. Done.
