Dirty neighbours

Iā€™d a lovely fued going with a former neighbour. They were forever leaving shite strewn about in front of my house (in my driveway)ā€¦ bikes, scooters, the odd car, dog shit etc.

Knocked on the door to ask them to remove the stuff on numerous occasionsā€¦ one day the matriarch slams the door in my face. No problem missus, into the car and up and over the childā€™s fancy scooter. Mangled it.

They were very upset, tried to cry me into to paying for it :joy:

That never happened again

A woman was rude to him so the big man got into his car and broke a childā€™s toy? What kind of a fucking dickhead are you? I hope they slash your tyres.

Living in an estate sounds absolutely horrendous

It really does. Youā€™d have little hope for anyone coming out of it.

Good neighbours in an estate are priceless. One of my neighbours bakes and is forever throwing over Polish treats to the house. Another one has a vegetable patch out the back and is forever giving over fresh veg.

The kids are forever out the front playing with each other

I agree with all the sentiment. Moved into an estate with great neighbours and loads of kids for our pair to hang out with about a year ago. Itā€™s fantastic.
But you did use the word forever 3 times in a couple of sentences and it jarred with me.

Thatā€™s it

Lucky boy tbh my kid only plays GAA local attends school in Bishopstown and meets his mates there ,weā€™ve pricks hereā€™ smoking weed etc at 14/15 dead heads who will never attend 3 rd level or learn a trade so heā€™s well out of it, his club mates at Avondale United and Carrigaline minors in the main donā€™t hang about either , mostly good kids

Itā€™s shite tbh at times , always waiting for something though tag our latest housing officer is a west Cork guy whoā€™s sorted out an awful lot of stupid stuff

I can understand your frustration , think like my episode this morning i left it build too long, bad mistake

Maybe she simply didnā€™t?

Count your blessings I mean it, I come originally from uam var estate Bishopstown where you respected your neighbourhood/ property and good neighbours and no one ducked about without getting a kick in the hole or a dawk , parts of Carrigaline are shite , great at times but a fucking rough element here even among the ā€˜ nice peopleā€™ who live in nice estates , might be the same all over I dunno, what I do know is teens and young ppl involved In GAA etc are generally well behaved

I was hoping for a thread full of lewd tales of durty neighbours when I clicked into this topic.

Maybe but she continually sees my immediate neighbour and I taking turns cleaning up outside ours and hers house for over 11 years

Sheā€™s thick more than purposely dirty perhaps

A fucking dickhead that had enough of picking up others peopleā€™s rubbish, dog shit, junk out of my way on my own property in order to access and egress. More than 4 years of it. I kept a calm and respectful tone for long enough.

The husband was also rude to me. He actually swore at me. I was very hurt by that. Would that sway you back towards my side?

Possibility alright and a nice woman but fuck it had to be told

Fuck them im over 60 now and past caring about what idiots do or say but I genuinely found it upsetting to point out to my neighbour her wrongdoings this morning sheā€™s a friendly African who invited us to her church several tomes and we enjoyed the Christian fellowship music etc
