I’ve been watching Free Solo in small stages for the past few days, he’s about to do the big climb.
It’s absolutely insane stuff, unbelievable that a human can even do that with the ropes

I had never realised that he puts down a lot of his spin success to being forced to move himself by his hands (with a trolley) as a 7 year old after he broke both his legs. The Ball of the Century is mind boggling.

it said that everybody who took Free soloing seriously to then was dead.
It’s incredible. I’ve done some climbing walls, handy enough ones and it’s just incomprehensible how much power he has in his fingertips, it’s exhausting. With most world class athletes you can kind of grasp how it’s done but with this it’s impossible to grasp just how he does it.

Yeah it’s mind blowing documentary. Better still in HD on a very big TV. There was sweat dripping off my hands just watching him do the big climbs.
