Interestingly, i was chatting to a lad in GNIB over the weekend and hes given me details of why youre in oz. I wont divulge them at this time as it would destroy the fingal contingent to know what you got up to but your card is marked

TASE told me about this. He said she said she was 18 an I believe him.
Just spent €440 on a camera to make a documentary with. One of my big ambitions. If it’s shit, at least I fucking tried.

I have 4 or 5 ideas so far but if anyone has any others I’d love to hear them. Hell if you’re interesting enough I’ll gladly travel down and shoot (in the video sense) you.
I’d love to see a documentary made on the Battle of Mount Street Bridge.

I’d also like to see one detailing the close connections between the Crown Forces and the IRFU.

And this is a super little documentary made about my beloved Barrack St which shows what can be done with a tiny budget.

Whoever would have guessed that the royalist fooley would be a rat to the law.

No issue with the grade 1 comment though

Ireland V Yugoslavia 1955. Don’t think this has ever been the subject of a doco, but it would be good, I’m sure there’ still a few people alive who were at it / participated in all the godless shit sorrounding it. @Fagan ODowd , you must have been there?

Finally got around to watching West of Memphis yesterday.

Fantastic documentary on a very interesting case. The police incompetence is shocking, the justice system is clearly fucked up (with the election of judges and prosecutors etc). But the thing that struck me most was the abject poverty of the defendants, the victims, many witnesses and the area. A real indictment of America on so many levels.

This will be the best documentary you watch this year. It tells the story of 80s Irish basketball when all the top clubs were bringing over yanks who couldn’t make it in the NBA and the country was going gaga for the sport. It has the feel of a 30 for 30 and may bring back memories of Sports Stadium for those who are old enough to remember. It will also give the Cork lads yet another reason to feel the whole world is against them.

Nice piece about it here too

That was fucking class. Best documentary I’ve seen in ages.

@Lazarus :clap::clap::clap::clap:

Just watched “Blood on the Turntable” documentary on the demise of The Stone Roses - very much enjoyed it. Think it is very possible that Gareth Evans is @caoimhaoin’s father. I watched Shane Meadow’s documentary/film on The Stones Roses when it came out and felt it was utter shit so this was a very nice surprise.
