This is great stuff, can’t believe it took me this long to get round to watching it. Right up there with Adam Curtis

Very enjoyable, McGee seemed like some nutter but he definitely has to be the soundest hun about.

Nice doc here on John Cazale, he was in only 5 movies all of which are classics and duly nominated for Best Picture, The Godfather 1 & 2(Fredo), Deerhunter(He was dying while making this movie), The Conversation and my own favourite Dog day Afternoon.

meryls streep was his partner then, a very touching scene in the deer hunter bearing this in mind…

She was the measure of beauty in her day, easy to see why when you watch that film. Cazale had it good

Left his mark on film forever, fantastic actor!

I must admit, I hadn’t watched this before I posted about it earlier…It’s a fucking fantastic story, you have 1 minute to set it to record on BBC 4.

One of the great stories.
The Mexican Luke Kelly.

Didn’t the director die in strange circumstances recently?

No, he just topped himself

Once upon a time in Punchbowl.

Good insight into the way the Lebanese have been treated in Oz. Great insight into Police and Anglo-Australian ignorance and racism.

That is quite the norm lately alright

Isn’t there a name on the dish they do for the roasters in west limerick something to do with curry sauce cheese and chicken, a thrift box or something they call it

The Internets Own Boy, Aaron Swartz. Great show, and another example of the government driving good people to killing themselves, and a great insight into where the world is going.

I like 9/11 docs.
The best I’ve seen so far have been the three that make up ‘9/11 The New Pearl Harbour’
Long, but really good and all here

Excellent doc about the struggles of miners in the USA in the 1970’s and in particular, the goings-on of the strike at the Brookside mine in Harlan County, Kentucky.
Went on for months it did. Raylan Givens would have sorted it out quick smart mind you.
