Anyone see the John Daly 30 for 30? Not bad, but thought it would be a lot better. Far too short and didn’t really get into the juicy stories. A very likeable redneck. I think I expected it to be better.
There’s one glaring omission from this which really only struck me last night when I was rewatching an episode of one of Curtis’s documentaries.
He never ever refers to Margaret Thatcher as “Margaret Thatcher”, only “Mrs. Thatcher”.
As far as I can remember, this is common to all his documentaries, even interviews he does.
…very good
This is astonishing. Patent trolls are the scum of the earth.
This was brilliant.
Weiner is a savage debater, the way he destroyed the Jew in the bakery was immense.
Weiner for president.
Where can you see this?
Watched the Steve Gleason doc this evening. Great watch but absolutely harrowing in places. Real warts and all look at living with ALS
Only the Dead
Probably posted here before
Absolutely brilliant
Watched Palio on Netflix yesterday.
Documentary about the Palio di Siena. Absolutely mad stuff, I now really want to go to Siena for it.
It’s great stuff
We have such a rich and illustrious culture.
Saw the Palio in 1991. Superb day, it will always live in the memory.
Great city to visit as well.
Watched a bunch of these over Christmas.
Tower - Pretty good. About college shooting in Dallas in 1960s.
Twinsters - About twin sisters separated at birth and raised in different countries who found each other online randomly. Decent watch too.
Gleeson - As @Big_Dan_Campbell mentions. Excellent, also hard to watch in places.
Weiner - Good God the man is box office.
The OJ: Made in America 30 for 30 is a must watch.
We Need to Talk about Dad, airs tonight at 9.30pm on @RTEOne, earlier on @RadioRayRTE
The new 30 for 30 doc on the XFL is pretty good.
