Had a skelp of this last night. Pleasant drop.
Got a bottle of Roe & Co for Father’s Day. Fancy looking bottle will give it a try tonight
Power’s John’s Lane here.
I don’t know how we do it.
Roe is pretty decent to be fair.
I like it anyway.
I know many of you like a wee drop. Exciting new development near me official opening this weekend. First zero emissions distillery in the Worold! Possibly not @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy
Maybe some of you have tried their product?
Whats the beat way to go about selling a rare bottle of whiskey…preferably privately?
Gwan @Mac . @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy swears you’re the man with all the answers
I’ve never sold one. I buy to keep. @Fagan_ODowd @Smark and @Batigol have all posted about selling before so they’d be worth listening too. I’m sure there’s auction sites but I couldn’t tell you where to start with them
I wouldn’t have a clue about private sales but I believe whiskey collectors Facebook groups would be a good place to find out.
The best auction house is Irishwhiskeyauctions I’ve bought off them in the past but never sold anything as yet.
No I’ve never sold a bottle
Sold one on Facebook before. Join one of the whiskey groups on there.
You can put it up for auction too.
Have any of you waterford aficionados tried their killone organic whiskey? Or any of their single farm offerings?
I have yes. They were lovely. I had the Ballykilcavan and the Bannow Island. I’ve also tried a couple of the Cuvées. Also lovely. The lads in the cards group also loved them but they’d drink it off a sore foot.
I’ve a 21 yr old Glenfiddich here. I suppose a 4-in-a-row merits opening it?
Keep it for the 5 in a row. It will be 22 years old then
Live in the moment. Have a drop and enjoy.
Scotch is shite. Get something decent.
Ha, good one!
But perhaps it will be 70* years old then.
*Hope my maths add up correctly.
