Does whiskey go off after its been open for a bit?

I tried a shot of it. Middling to alright. At 9 euro a shot I was probably trying to convince myself it was nicer than it really was

Fine Wines in Limerick have been at that for a while also. I wondered if there were some legal considerations around an off-licence repackaging alcohol but seems there are not.

The left looney Lads will have to pour the Jameson away

And there’s me thinking tiger idiocy had peaked with @TheUlteriorMotive and his can of oxygen

Had a Kilbeggan 21 year old and a Dalmore last night. The Kilbeggan was mild and mellow. The Dalmore was a big beast of a thing.

I’m sampling this Boyne Valley stuff now… :+1:

Its hard to beat a really top class vodka properly chilled from a chilled glass.

Neat or would you add a little drop of apple juice?

Neat

Any of ye come across this. Don’t know who makes it. It only says bottled in Ireland so fuck knows where it came from.

Tasted like Whiskey anyway which is about as far as my whiskey knowledge goes. Passable. But nothing to it really.

Not much to it now anyway……:tumbler_glass:
