Does whiskey go off after its been open for a bit?

Was gifted a bottle of this recently. It’s very very nice. The first of the Waterford ones I’ve really liked.

If only… Never seen it.

Have said here before that my palate tells me, for what saying so is worth, the Waterford Cuvée bottlings are by far their best so far.

Dug an MVR 2019 out of the back of the press there. Fairly nice. Its no Johns Lane though.

Wife is gone to bed. Time to watch some bad horse racing from the States, back number 4 in each race, and enjoy some of this

It’s great for its price.

Whiskey gurus. The auld lad has a landmark birthday next month. I’m gonna get him a good bottle of something. Redbreast 15 seems to be the recommendation for about that budget. Any other options or is this the one to go with?

I’m certainly not an expert but I had it before and I enjoyed it.

Go with that and keep it simple

Was thinking of doing this for my Dad last Christmas but guaranteed he’ll fuck a load of water in it and ruin it every time, so he got his standard bottle of Jameson

Picked up a bottle of Bushmills 10 and Black Barrel for 35 each in the usual bank holiday offers in Dunnes. Crested is 30.

No budge on the likes of Redbreast or Green Spot once again.

What’s the Bushmills 10 like?

Very protestanty, so you’d like it.

All I can tell you for the moment is that the bottle looks nice.

Tesco selling the Crested for 28 euro. Nearly everything below the 50 quid mark on offer for the weekend with the clubcard
