The term Mass Spectrograph hasn’t been used since the early 20th century, sounds about the vintage of your science knowledge. Nobody uses the term nowadays, other than stupid cunts.

The claim is that a Simon Davis, known to @flattythehurdler, invented the technique known as the Mass Spectrometer (in antiquity known as the Mass Spectograph). As the mass Spectrometer was invented in 1917 by Francis William Aston, who died in 1945, I await with bated breath the evidence for this claim. I doubt it’s a claim Simon Davis would make, who undoubtedly is a renowned scientist.
