I think Bacik will have half a chance if she’s the Labour candidate but it looks wide open. I think Boylan would be better off focussing on Rathdown or Dun Laoighaire where SF currently have no seat. I doubt Chris Andrews will fancy having Boylan move in on his patch as you couldn’t see SF winning two seats in this constituency at a General Election and if they had two you’d think Boylan would be the one to hang on.

Geoghegan was a tobacco lobbyist and I’d expect that to be the focus of a lot of attention during the campaign. I find it bizarre that this guy seems to be FG’s preferred candidate. He looks toxic.

Kate was on RTE there. Can’t understand why the leadership won’t back her. Conceded she’s never backed the leadership and openly questioned them on numerous occasions but that’s different
