It sounds as if you’ve seen it. This is discussed at length.
I haven’t and gaa puff piece docs would have little appeal to me
Back in the day they were scruff merchants. Tbf the whole program should be on Paddy Christie as he turned a load of them towards gaa. I coached a summer camp out there in late 90s and they were wild. Paddy moved to glasnevin part and got a good few kids there declaring for Ballymun instead of na fianna and they had a nice balance but he was the main man.
How are the Setanta hurling club going these times ??
It’s a hurling club in Dublin. How do you think
Is Collinstown road their main pitch?
On a side note - was there much of a crowd at Raheny v Castleknock match last week? Assume well over 200 at it as it would be impossible to enforce in St Anne’s.
It was wedged. Pitch itself was awful. Not even lined properly and holes/divots everywhere. It was good champo fare on a local pitch - ref was poor but our lads never showed up. There’s a lad for Raheny called Sean McMahon who must be the best attacking full back in the county. He was unreal.
Yeah Ballymun still there but think they’ve reduced the use of the all weather pitch - it’s like concrete now.
Played a match on that Raheny pitch a few weeks back it is fairly cat. One of the goal mouths waterlogged despite no rain that day and a massive dip in it and as you say bobbly and no lines on it. Terribly surface for a solid club.
Clontarf’s pitch’s in St Anne’s are too class surfaces
Yeah spot on on clontarf. Nearly sure they flattened and reseeded those pitches along with the council. They’ve a few quid there and decent membership.
No discussion of the trimming na fianna gave cuala yesterday.
Considering Dublin provided the All-Ireland club hurling champions in 2017 and 2018, I’ll take that as going well!
Considering only 6 counties play hurling it’s pretty easy for a Dublin club to do well
Ah we have about 9 hurling counties now. Hurling needs a strong Offaly again!
Laois bate the bollocks off dublin last year pal, relax a bit.
With Derek McGrath at the helm of Laois minors I think they’ll be upgraded to a hurling county shortly!
We walked all over the cunts
Forwards motoring very well and the look to be playing a lovely brand of hurling. A very talented bunch. It will be knockout when we see what they are made of though.
Another one leaving Dessie’s ship, Paul Clarke has stepped down
Just saw that Lucan shocked Kilmacud in the quarters today. Semi final line up Na Fianna v Boden and Lucan v Cuala. Youth against experience in the first one. If Na Fianna get over Boden they’ll win the final. I think they will. 6/1 is a great price for them to win it out. I’m gonna have a decent cut off it. I dont think that price will last too long.
Kilmacud crokes 1-09
Cuala 1-17
Cuala play naomh fionbarrs in the final
Fuck crokes
