This is @padjo… Oh shit am I logged in on my Limerick Secret Forum login?
I had business to do in the city centre this evening and took a stroll around Grafton St and Sth Anne St after it. I’d say there was easily 100 people outside Kehoes supping pints in the evening sun. Its one of those great indicators as to the vibe in the city on a given evening. It was almost as if Covid never existed and we were back in 2019.
I went past a bunch of places along Merrion Row towards Baggot St and every pub with a beer garden out the front appeared to be heaving. This was about 7pm. We’re definitely back lads.
Any sign of his Royness?
we will miss him when he is gone, a national treasure
Him and Dingle are the only two pieces of Ireland we all love left.

Along the docks, Dublin (and Ireland’s) story.
A social history, a difficult remembrance, a reminder.
A falling into and then an emergence from famine.
Europe’s finest attraction.
We can distill it down to its three letter essence.

Upon Anna Livia’s currents a town once more rises.
Here’s what they told us when we won: Money, soccer fans, ye bought it, have ye ever been to a club game?

To come back, to rise above the tide of ignorance, to once more say, it is glorious to be a Dub.
To march behind the James Mac, Fento, Ciaran K standard.
To admit to monarchist tendencies.
To bow in regal presence.
At the gilded altar.
The throne of the Dalkey Caesar.
To admit, I have seen Epic…
He is among us…
King Con.
Ath Cliath abu.
That almost makes me want Cork to win this evening.
That never happened.
The protagonists have all affirmed on twitter with the exception of Dowd.
When i grow up i want to be Roy.
I’d 8 or 9 very underwhelming pints in Toners the other night. I hate to paint with a broad brush but young wans with nose piercings just cant pour decent Guinness
Roy is comedy gold.
Is he dying?
Maybe you need to broaden you mind mate. If you think it’s going to a be a lovely pint…
Yes. For a pint.
We are all a day closer to death
