I presume it’s the Merrion Row one you are referring to rather than the Suffolk St one? If so I’d be grateful if you would avoid in future. I posted a few months ago about how they tried to rip me off and couldn’t provide a receipt for some work group drinks. A hellhole.

What sort of venue are you looking for?
A place that will be busy with good atmosphere, or perhaps a quieter place where you can watch it in more comfort?
I have a couple of Galway men up to me for the weekend. A place that is fairly central and that falls between the two options you have listed above
Chaplins might be a good option?
I don’t know how popular it is with the Dublin crowd.
Sinnotts on Stephens Green is good from a screen and bar service point of view. You’ll get served quickly in a big crowd. Not the best pub in the world but for watching a match its fine.
Kehoes on South Anne St a much better pub but think their screens are shit.
If its a nice day The Long Stone has a beer garden with screens and will have a much better crowd than somewhere like Diceys.
Sinnotts is a shithole and the carvery is the only thing it has going for it.
