Dublin V Cork All Ireland Hurling SmeiFinal

Nash is an alright sort

We all know that sending off ruined the game.
Ruined it? Bar 2010 final it’s best game in years you tool.
Not at that stage. If it was after 10 minutes then maybe ya.

I realize you probably realize ye won’t beat Cork twice and ye would rather Dublin but the fact is Cork won and discipline is part of the game. Corks was better than Dublins.
So are you saying that if Pat Horgan hadn’t been sent off in the Munster final, Limerick would still have won by 9 points?

I suppose if the sending off in today’s game didn’t affect the outcome the sending off in the limerick game hardly counted for two points? We bet ye handy without much effort, can’t see cork troubling limerick. A pity after such a great year for hurling it will be such a one sided final.

No, I’d say they would have won by 2-4.

Home advantage and the passion Limerick had for that occasion were massive factors in that game regardless of sending off.

great stuff!

Today should have been Killenny v Dublin.

However A red card for Henry, subsequently rescinded, ruined the quarter final game and the better team lost out.

Cork are going to be destroyed in the final.

That’s silly talk.

What would you know about it.

Lie down, Lassie, lie down.

Sending off ruined the game-it was a classic up until that. Thought ref rode Dublin a bit. JBM is some legend though-if he takes that Cork team to an AI win, it will be his greatest ever achievement.

Pal, I predicted a Cork victory and noted a team relying on Paul Ryan wouldn’t get the job done in an All Ireland semi-final. You should take my astute comments on board instead of being spiky with me.

Those Clare forwards will have a field day with Joyce in the final

Agree to disagree pal.

That free near the end that he missed was painful to watch. Not a confident guy.

Fuck off. Rushe deserved to walk, he pulled one handed and was way off the ball.

In saying that Cork were very poor in the second half, bizarre tactics and a draw would have been fair.

Fuck that shit… this is TFK you cunt.
The other cunt is ALWAYS wrong.
For fear of Appendage calling me a dub fan, I thought that was a seriously harsh red, however unlike the last one, this one affected the game.

And then rushe should have got a straight red.

Good game, pity the red came when it did.
As one of Cody’s disciples I’m not surprised you’re persisting with this line of no sendings off ever.

The first yellow would seem to have been for a fair enough shoulder tackle if maybe a couple of inches off. But that’s with the help of a replay. When I saw it first and from how the Corkie fell I thought it was into the chest by O’Dwyer. Hence the referee’s decision I’d say.

The second one was pretty fucking thick from a guy on a yellow card for a shoulder into the chest.

I’d say O’Dwyer is a marked man in the referring fraternity for being a dirty cunt so he’s unlikely to get any sympathy/benefit of the doubt.

Rushe should’ve been sent off and Owens bottled it.

The referee in the minor game was a total fucking arsehole. Two lads sent off for accidents. Not even dangerous accidents.

That’s why I rated his post disagree. I forgot to call him a cunt I suppose.

Not that young really. Just looking at player profiles in match programme, surprised to see how many Dublin players 29/30 mark.
