Paul Ryanâs performance against Galway was some indictment of those western hicks.
I canât believe Dalo placed so much reliance on him. Had he scored his scorable frees the duds wouldâve been chasing a 1 or 2 point game which is clearly easier. They totally cacked it in the end. Much like Wexford park.
See thatâs right. The likes of Jimmy McNulty thinks theyâre young because heâs never heard of them until today. Thereâs a few more years in all of them though.
Someone mentioned before about Keaney having lost a bit of pace since the accident. I thought it was noticeable today.

I guess a few of their players off successful recent minor and Under 21 teams have chosen senior football instead. OâCarroll a while back and the likes of Kilkenny and Costelloe now, and TomĂĄs Brady made the switch this season before getting injured. Obviously Sutcliffe has had a serious impact but the likes of OisĂn Gough and Eamon Dillon havenât been able to force themselves in the starting team. Martin Quilty impressed me a while back but heâs on the bench too - think a cruciate knee ligament injury halted his progress a bit. So yeah, theyâve quite an experienced starting team.
And theyâre still playing blow ins like Corcoran and OâDwyer. Kilkenny and Costelloe would be decent additions if they can land them next year. Iâd say they will do as theyâll see themselves as viable double winners which would be a nice thing to achieve.
If you line out with a loose cannon like Ryan OâDwyer then you have to be prepared to live with the consequences of whatever stupid fucking thing he inevitably does in a match
Yeah, itâs not the first second third or even 4th the pillock. Well done on the minor win next Waterford manager has serious talent to work with, the most ye have ever had future very bright
I love TFK fallouts after a big game. It warms my heart.
Cork were just about keeping in touch with Dublin, who upped it much more in the second half, before the sending off. Cork were lagging and youâd have to wonder if the numbers were still even, with not much on the bench would Cork have had the stamina to stay with Dublin to the end. While they have put in two big performances in their last two games,KK and Dublin pushed them right to the end with 14, I think if Clare or Limerick are within distance of them going into the last 15 they will wilt.
Still, a semi last year, and progression to the final this year. JBM is a legend.
Youâre having a laugh, pal. Donie Ryan would make hay against that Cork defence. Himself, Begley and Shaughs would probably getâŚten goals against them. Or more!

And from a Limerick perspective, this is the best possible result.
Limerick would have been unsure about facing Dublin. however, Cork will be a handy day out for this super Limerick team.
Limerick will likely be taking over as the dominant team in the country and hopefully winning 7 or 8 All Irelandâs in the next decade.
