Dublin V Cork All Ireland Hurling SmeiFinal

Where did you hear that spidey? Twitter? The Examiner? The Irish Times? At training? Down the pub maybe?

The Indo have an interview with him today and it says he is back in the frame for a place against Dublin do I presume that is where he got it from

I hate to point this out, but I was taking the piss. He “heard” was what I found amusing, as if he had the inside track, when it’s all over regular media with 3-4 days.

Correcto…

W
That’s a shame. I was at both games. I had absolutely no interest in the replay in particular but I watched it from a Corporate Box (at halfway).
Well it pissed me off. Where do all these “hurling fans” suddenly come from? I wouldn’t mind so much but half the fuckers had no interest even in the first aif.

Unchanged team for Cork. Brian Murphy on the bench.

Happy with that or would you have liked a few changes braz83?

Couldn’t complain with the performance against KK at all, so happy out. We’re not blessed with an abundance of alternative starters at the moment in truth, and lack of depth from the bench could catch us out if this is a close match. Obviously you’d find room for Murphy in the starting line-up if he was ready to go.

If the Cork half forward line win their match ups then they will win imo.

I would rate Rush and Carton highly. If Cork can stop these two from dominating, we will be well on our way to winning. Lack of strength on bench is a huge concern though.

Agreed ref nullifying Rush & Carton.

I think people are reading a little too much into the Cork bench issue, Dublin are very reliant on their starting 15 also as their bench is not at all that strong either.

Murphy only started back with non contact training this week. Bit of a stretch to think he could come on in an AI Semi then.

That was spikey not spidey. I just issue hearsay about Eddie Halvey and Mick Galwey. For what it’s worth if Dublin are within 3 points after 20 minutes they will win. Their ball winning ability in every line is unreal as is theiir talent to pick the right option. No alan mccrabbe indivivduals any more.

These Dublin players all have a history of winning Leinster titles at underage level and then shitting the course in the semi-finals or final against shit teams who nonetheless have the crucial advantage of being from “hurling counties”. They’ll do it again on Sunday. I can feel it in my bones.

Cork by 4 or 5.

I would also see Cork winning by 4 or 5.

I heard training in Cork hasn’t been going great since the Kilkenny game.

I heard they’ve been absolutely flying in training.

My source is better than yours

So we are going with this incorrectly titled thread as the official one so, are we? Fuck the correctly titled thread that was started a week before this one, is that it? This place is gone to the fucking dogs.

My source is a hurling man to his fingertips.
