Dublin V Cork All Ireland Hurling SmeiFinal

Getting over the line against the Kilkenny team was a psychological problem for a lot of teams, like Keryr back in the day. Wouldnā€™t criticise too harshly for getting a bit worried closer to the line

Iā€™m coming down on the side of Dublin for this. Cork have little or no goal scoring threat and tend to hit points from the outside, but against Dublin they are up against probably the best half back line left in the competition and will struggle for possession.

They did the same in wexford park though . Even in the replay they missed simple chances ā€¦ they are a decent side but I just cant see them as all ireland champions ā€¦ the more i think about it I think the dubs will shit themselvesā€¦ cork to win by five after being behind at half time ā€¦

Donā€™t think Dublin will fail to turn up here, of the two, cork are more likely to pull a no show I think, though I donā€™t think they will either. Of the four teams left I think only Clare are brittle enough to collapse on the day.

And good enough to win it out. Did you see the Under 21s?

Any of the four left are good enough to win it out. Only saw the second half of the 21s game. Some excellent u21 players. Wouldnt lose the head on the basis of that game though. A senior all Ireland semi final is a different matter entirely.

True that. Heard Christy Oā€™Connor on Off the Ball and he was saying in 95 Loughnane didnā€™t let the Under 21s on th esenior panel play with the Under 21s

You just proved my point there

Dublin by 6+

Yes he pulled frank lohan, baker, eamon taeffe, Stephen McNamara and Fergal hegarty . Tipp beat them in the Munster final by 6 pts

He was dead right.

Thereā€™s going to be a respect handshake in Croke Park today :o

Probably but there were other 21 players etc who were never considered you could argue both approaches were possible

???

Read this earlier. Some bullshit. The gaa must not have noticed that by and large inter county players exchange handshakes before games anyway.

This will just speed up the process of lads driving the end of the hurl into their opponents guts.

Not just inter county players appendage. I have never not shook hands before a game at club level.

Itā€™s bizarre that the GAA feel they donā€™t want to be seen to steal things from other sports that will make the games better (discipline issues etc) but theyā€™ll take this kind of horse shit from soccer.

Morons.

Cannot wait for this game. Barryā€™s hotel is gonna get some fucking wallop in about an hour.

Rebels here rebels there rebels fucking everywhere and we love you we love you we do!!!

Will the Dubs fans turn out today in football numbers?

Hardly Iā€™d say. If they to 60 k would b. good crowd.
