Anyone know did Dublin play a round of club games during the break or what?
Dublin gaa players usally play for their clubs for the month of April and then again in September if they are still in championshipâŚ

Seemingly he got a yellow card for the penalty that wasnât shown on tv so couldnât be cited. They didnât bother to cite him for the kick as Frank would get him off anyway
I missed the kick, when did that happen?
when Colin Fennelly over carried and conceded a free, O neill gave him a dig.
I think this will be a cracker. Looking forward to it. A lot depends on how the five week lay-off hurts Dublin. Important to remember that Cork hurling hasnât put back-to-back performances together since the OâGrady/Allen days.
Great to see that Henryâs first yellow card has been reversed.
It is a pity that this refereeing error resulted in Kilkenny being knocked out of the Championship
We woz robbed
A yellow reversed?
Fucking pityful. Sympathy vote.
There are now question marks over the validity of Cork appearing in the All Ireland semi final.
Are Cork in a semi final because of an incorrect decision by the referee? Todays decision to rescind Henryâs first yellow card would seem to suggest that the answer may be âYesâ.
The Cork players are surely asking themselves if they rightfully belong in a Semi Final.

I think this is going to be very tough for Dublin, Cork to get a lead a hold it
Think I put this in the wrong thread a minute ago, anyways to repeat: Seems to be a lot of love for Cork in the papers today. If Dublin werenât Dublin (ie a more traditional county) would pundits be as quick to question their credentials? And are Cork getting talked up more simply because theyâre Cork?
No.
Yes.
That doesnât mean that people are not correct to do so.

Iâm just not that convinced by Cork. Caught Clare on a bad day and if Honan got tht goal early on wuld be different story. Lost to Limerick, sending off or no sending off think that was happening, beat Kilkenny on a downward curve. But yeah then Galway were shite and Kilkenny were on just as much a downward curve for Dubs⌠so who the fuck knows
How do you know that they caught Clare on a bad day. Clare have played at best two decent games this year and two bad ones. Maybe Cork are just a better team
Because of how they played against them in the league play-off. League is league of course
Hard to call Dublin will need massive games out of Rushe and Kelly and Carton. Corcoran is a disaster waiting to happen and can see him being cleaned. Against Wexford the first day, Kilkenny both days and to a lesser extent Galway, Dublin were well on top at stages yet always allow teams to come back at them. I actually donât see them winning if its close with a few to go. If Ryan and dotsy are kept quiet early on the will be anonymous for the day.
Not really much of a criticism in hurling, even a weaker team will always get a run of scores at some stage. Sounds like you are criticism for not handing out a one-sided hiding to all the teams they played.
they have been so well on top at times they should have handed out a few hidings Galway aside ⌠games ebb and flow and momentum changes which has been a feature of this championship but i think in a lot cases that has been down to teams failings more than anything else. an example being the kk dublin replay. dublin should have been out of sight with ten to go but due to their own badly missed chances let kk come back at them without kk having to up things considerably themselves.
