Dublin v Kerry SFC Semi Final

Nah, if Darran O’Sullivan actually marks McCaffrey it’ll be another Lar Corbett/Tommy Walsh situation. We’ll pummel the cunts whatever they do.

#juggernaut

be interesting to see how your footballer of the year ,Marc O Se, goes…I think he´s actually been quite poor this year…would fear for him in croker…hopefully im wrong…would hate to see him get a skutching as he´s been a great player but i would genuinely think he could be in trouble…

Wait hang on, we’re supposed to be playing the Beal Bocht here!

FOTY? WTF?!

´
i can honestly see any result happening in 2 weeks…i could see Dublin cutting kerry to pieces but i can also see Kerry out smarting dublin tactically with gooch putting the likes of O´donoghue and declan sullivan in for a bundle of goals…would be very surprised if there is 30 players left on the pitch at the end too…

For what its worth, Donal Vaughan has to be in there for me, and Marc O Sé, while having fuck all thrown at him yet, he will get some of the credit for closing out the Championships top scorer to date, has had a decent season at full back. He will live or die by his performance against Dublin.[/quote]

Where is FOTY mentioned?

No, mate. We’re SuperDubs®.

Oh, we as in Kerry. In that case, carry on. We’ll pulverise you.

well if you´re singling him out in the same company as Vaughan´s performances you must think he´s in the running?..

I wasnt. I was replying to a post where I added in people to someone else’s All Star Team. FOTY was never mentioned.

you fully expect kerry to beat dublin?..

There’s little in this life I fully expect to happen. They probably have a chance. What this has to do with you making up stuff however is beyond me.

Ah FFS. Blindness.

I’ve split this out from the main Senior Football Championship thread to make it easier for historians to find in future years.

Brolly mostly right here. Goich at centre forward is arguably the most over rated performer in my living memory. I was always a fan of the idea of it, but it hasn’t worked. The men he is marking are having big influences themselves and he’s just a weak tackler. I think he’ll give away a few lazy frees Sunday, a couple of yellows wouldn’t be a surprise.

However I don’t agree that hasn’t been a leader. I remember plenty times when he came demanding the ball and took teams on and turned games. Lets face it (I hate the sight of him to be honest) he is/was an unbelievable corner forward, he’s a beautiful foot passer an he is very intelligent positionally, but he has no physical presence and can’t play at 11 in the present day.

was he not brought out more to give him an interest again?..he was going through the motions a bit stuck in the corner and a blanket defence in front of him…Fitzmaurice wanted him on the ball more…If ever there is a match for him to excel its against Ger Brennan…and he has as much if not more physical presence than Ger Brennan has…

Brolly is wrong about Connolly being greedy…Brogan wouldn’t pass water but Connolly has set up a lot of goals this year…yes he’s missed a lot too but I would give him the benefit…his problem is he seems to go back onto his weaker left side and tries to roll the ball under the keeper instead of drilling it…I’ve more belief in him clicking yet and run amok more than Brogan who seems to play like a lad who wants to win footballer of the year and top scorer as opposed to just all ireland…

He’s bluffing. That’s the way I see it. The semi will tell alot.
