Dublin v Kerry SFC Semi Final

Suppose Sean Cavanagh could be included in this group.

It’s never a problem when somebody agrees with me!
James Loughry, his direct marker also had an excellent game and to be honest Gooch was missing for large parts of 2nd half.

The goal was beautifully taken but taking everything into account (Corks amazingly shit stand off tactics and general play especially) and the general poor intensity o that game it arguably the most over rated performance in years.
He wasn’t the only one missing for large chunks of the second half wouldn’t put it all on him

Ger Brennan is an excellent player and vitally important for Dublin.

Amen…

you’ve taken over from scrunchie as the biggest dick on this forum

That’s true, an I’m not laying it all at him. He just got over rated, that’s all. It’s not like I’m saying he was shit

Kerry’s only chance in this game is to strike early, get a lead, bottle the game up completely and hang on for dear life, picking off the odd point on the break. Dublin have conceded the first score in their last three matches. Kerry have faded badly in their last two matches and I can’t see them lasting the pace against the fastest team in the country. If Dublin get an early lead Kerry will be forced to open up and play the game on Dublin’s terms, which will be disastrous for them.

Yerra

The replacement will make them stronger?

brosnan will come in no?..he´s not a great centre back but i would consider him better than Young and definitely a better footballer…

Brosnan was one of their best players in the final two years ago.

Would have thought Brosnans legs were gone at this stage, especially for starting a game of this stature. Young has his faults, but he was their best option for 6. Besides, losing a back is a death blow for this Kerry outfit, just don’t have the options back there.

I don´t know…i think brosnan would be well protected in that blanket defence regards not having the legs…

It’s hard to say whether killian young is a loss or not for Kerry next week. He’s one of these guys who offers very little in my opinion but at d same time never gets shown up. A comfort zone type of player who would average 6/10 in most games. He won’t be a loss for what he’ll offer but he may be a loss depending on who comes in and their ability to produce a reliable ‘average’ performance!

Can’t see Cooper being held in the corner. I’d expect him to score at least 1-2 and that should ensure an easy win for his team.

I´m getting nervous…we´re going to be like startled earwigs on sunday…we´re going to let kerry play and they will eat us…gavin or none of his backroom team didn´t even go to croker today…they know the game is up…season ends sunday

Cooper’s pace will be too much. He’s like a greyhound.
