supposedly we will have the first “pure football” final in nealry a decade with no blanket defences being operated by either team…
Dublin may think they have solved there Centre back conumdrum with Cian O’Sullican yesterday but i believe this will leave them vulnerable in midfield.
The general Dublin plan in midfield is to get up and break the ball to either a hlf back or half forward, i believe Mayo are possibly the best equipped team to counteract this. They have two very good fielders of the ball in the o Se brothers and 2 half lines which are excellent on the breaking ball. I imagine Seamus O’Se will follow MDM around the place and Aidan will be left to exert as much dominance as possible.
The mayo defence had been excellent all year and i would be concerned for Dublin that the 2 goals they got yesterday, as alluded to by someone on here previously, were quite fortunate in nature.
Paul Mannion was very quite yesterday and Kilkenny was a non entity. Dublin cannot really afford for this to happen again. They wont have the luxury of Mayo getting tired as Kerry did.
It will be interesting to see how Horan lines out his team.

What say ye…[/quote]
why after every dublin match the same cunts are on here telling us Dublin´s weaknesses and why they will lose the next game??..thats some preview…you haven´t mentioned mayo´s weaknesses once…bitter cunt…

Allegedly… Horan been seen as given bias towards the Ballintubber lads. The view was that Dillion shouldn’t have started and neither should O’Connor. A few of the Castlebar lads took it a bit personal and refused to travel on same coach as Horan and the Ballintubber lads.
Story not too unsimilar to Anthony Cunningham and the Thomases lads.

Was very surprised that Richie Feeney played no part in the final. I’m therefore happy to upgrade your rumour to fact.

This happened to me when i coached an under 19 girls volleyball team. Made one girl captain and another got the hump. Camp was torn apart and we crashed out of the prestigious acamis tournament. Never again i swore. If only james horan had given me a buzz.
Feeneys lack of game time was bizarre. I felt his height and straight running would disrupt McCaffery and also add a bit of balance to their half forwards
horan´s biggest mistake was moving higgins…he was getting on the ball a lot at centre forwrad and giving it to the man in better position …after that you can analyse the fuck out of it but the fact is I don´t think dubkin will ever play as bad again and mayo still didn´t have the skill levels to beat them…Aiden o shea is a flat track bully…
Heard an interesting story last night about a Dub fan’s attempts to get to this match. He went into Elverys Sports in Croke Park and then through an emergency exit which got him into the stadium. Alarm went off and all but he just ran. Ended up in the premium section apparently and got a picture with the Seoige sisters.
