Dublin v Mayo - All-Ireland Senior Football Final 2013

He is. Moran is from Ballaghadereeen. Never apologise.

Is Kev not talking about Doherty though?

Mayo seem to lack the raw courage needed to win these things. Fair enough they were out on their feet but that’s no excuse for not even trying to track back when the ball is lost. A couple of moves broke down yesterday and instead of turning to go back they just stopped, or shhhtopped as they might say themselves.

Brogan’s second goal was a case in point. The Mayo lads were ambling back.

Their lack of concentration in the last 20 minutes vis a vis defending Cluxton’s kick outs was terrible. It’s been mentioned once or twice but what the fuck were they thinking in the last 5 minutes? I think Cromwell sent all of the thick cunts to the West and the results of this was evident in yesterday.

Yes, that’s what I thought. @Appendage wrong yet again on the internet.

I thought he was talking about Andy Moran farmer.

This is very serious.

No - I pointed out that it was a strange decision to take off Moran for Doherty. Kev replied that Horan was going with what he knew and was selecting his fellow club man - i.e. Doherty.

The years have made me bitter. The gargle dims me brain!!

Jason Doherty is from Burrishoole. According to the internet.

That’s beside the point bro.

I know pal, I know.

So both @caoimhaoin and @Appendage were wrong? Time to shut down the site. @Rocko, do the honours.

It seems so. Ballintubber came down to play us 5-6 years ago at U21 and I always thought O Connor and Doherty were full and centre forward.

They scored about 2-16 between them.
Maybe those sneaky mayo cunts brought a few ringers just to look good in front of us down in Cork.

You’d really need an O’Byrne cup there too - the photo is crying out for it!

I’m just glad all the hype at the start of the year didn’t affect the team as you thought it would mate. It looked like it might cost them at various stages during the championship.

Indeed, @Mac. Losing that O’Byrne Cup Final after extra time was ultimately what ensured they won everything else. Great call yet again by @scumpot.

Apparently the Mayo County Council Chairman, John Malley*, said in his speech at the team homecoming last night “America got Bin Laden. Mayo will get Sam Maguire.”

 • It may have been said by Michael Ring.

These people are utter simpletons.

Worth the same as 2 of the 3 there alright
I couldn’t believe Joe McQuillan’s performance yesterday. Fair play to Dublin for overcoming the fact he laughably and quite incredibly awarded Mayo 20 more frees than them.

It’s still ridiculous even when you acknowledge the 3 or 4 cynical fouls committed late on out the field when they’d used all their subs and had a concussed Rory O’Carroll on the pitch and Eoghan O’Gara with a torn hamstring.

McQuillan had an excellent match.
