Dublin v Mayo - All-Ireland Senior Football Final 2013

Their legs will turn to jelly, and I don’t think they’re ready for this jelly.

5 of the last 10 League winners have won the All-Ireland.

Weren’t you the poster affirming the importance of league status in terms of how a team does in the championship?

Why the flip-flop on this issue?

Mayo may buckle under the expectant pressure of their supporters. The hype around mayo is huge with all these mayo for Sam signs all over the place and also a lot of their supporters thinking they only need to turn up on Sunday and pick up Sam.

Maybe it’s just me but I haven’t seen too much hype around the Dublin team, in fact it’s been very quiet.

I have yet to meet any Mayo supporter who thinks all they have to do is show up on Sunday ,

Did anyone hear David Brady on Newstalk earlier talking about the match?

He is an utter simpleton.

He called the gooch "a class piece of ass"last year

And made a joke on air about anally raping Eoin McDevitt.

I have two as well. Anyone who deserves one gets one clearly!

Are tickets starting to show up for this in general??

No. I know plenty fellas panicking big time who should be well sorted now. I will give mine to a mate of mine from Mayo if he doesn’t get sorted but would like to head into it.

Yeah didnt think so. Would be very surprised too if they started popping up on Sunday morning like the hurling final.

Ah some will but not as many. Just much bigger market amongst neutrals for the football tickets.

No one really cares about the hurling phil they can be picked up anywhere on a Sunday morning

Because it suits my agenda?

One of my uncles has two in the post on the way up from Limerick for me. Another uncle currently has 6 to go around and is getting another 6 tomorrow.

You lads need better connections.

You’ll be bolloxed when the uncles die off.

You have a point there… my grandfather god be good to him used to send 2 football tickets up to Tyrone every year and he’d get 2 hurling ones in return. Always savage tickets in the lower hogan. His connection passed with him.

Nepotism will see me rise, shoddily unprepared and completely crooked, to the highest echelons of the County Board before that happens.

Those kinds of stories are great. I can see myself being badly fixed off in the future, gonna have to try keep in with @Thrawneen.
