Intriguing… I never doubted it wouldn’t be a noble profession NCC…

Bellers, what a man - he was fucking exceptional for Celtic. Speaking of exceptional - Celtic were exceptional tonight.

Beautiful, emotional:

Seriously bhoys, we have to sign Craig ‘No chance, I’m not signing a Rangers top’ Bellamy. Heroic scenes at Glasgow airport.

Great result for the Hoops, first CL away win since 2003.

The Greek tradegy was superb.

Is this them into the group stages?

Nah, they have one more round. But they are now guaranteed makin it into the prestigious Europa League.

What a performance last night, am speechless. I was confident Celtic would win through even if it had gone to penalties. When I think of FC Kaunas last year I breathe a huge sigh of relief. Moggy’s football style will really suit in Europe at least this level of football is now guranteed.

In many respects, the performance last night was even better than the Wembley Cup displays when we proved ourselves superior to FC Barcelona. Thoroughly magnificent - now we’re guaranteed European football one way or the other and it could even be that the Europa League will be more prestigious than the Champions League this season, especially with sides like Roma involved in it. But we’ll wait to assess that once we know which tournament we’ll be competing in.

Already had but for some reason it came back to you. Bit odd. I noticed that when I went into the kitchen earlier the laptop wasn’t there. But you threw it back in before you left. Very considerate I thought to myself.

Thats a day of porn sorted for clarkey.

I was browsing some Celtic sites during the night, Clarkey, as I often struggle to sleep. It was always my intention to return the laptop to the general living area despite your shameful behaviour yesterday.

Ah that was fucking wonderful. Magnificent game of football.

Landy N’Guemo is a superb footballer. Great (loan) signing and he was all over the park last night and passed it excellently with both feet.

Was very impressed with how Mowbray set us up and the little alterations during the game. First half was a bit frustrating because it wasn’t really sticking to McDonald or Fortune and the one time we did hold onto it up front we created the goal.

So despite calling for more width in his media briefings on Tuesday Mowbray sacrificed that to have McGeady playing more inside. The Ulsterman didn’t have his greatest game ever in the hoops but his more central role was crucial to Celtic holding onto the ball, which they did with ease from 55 minutes on, and he won a lot of free kicks in their half and generally allowed us to hold onto the ball in the Dinamo half of the pitch.

Two subs worked very well. Sammy got the goal obviously and gave us a bit of direct football while Brown played right up top stopping them from building from the back and linking the play from the midfield very well.

Good to see that bit of variety which was badly lacking last year as Larry has pointed out.

Draw at 11 tomorrow.

Ratings please lads

Boruc 6.5 - no saves to make of any difficulty. Dealt with all the tame shots comfortably. Beaten by a couple he’d no chance with but saved by Andy.

Hinkel 7.5 - Setanta were raving about him but thought he was very good rather than great, other than his spectacular interventions at both ends. Cross for the first goal was delicious. Clearances off the line were expected, given his role, but the second one was useful. Had a lot to do without McGeady in front of him but got up and down the flank tirelessly.

Caldwell 6.5 - worrying lapses from Caldwell at times. Did a few things well but handed them the ball in our half twice through carelessness and just didn’t seem as composed as he can be.

Loovens 5.5 - shocking amount of free kicks to concede. Has to be more clever to play at that sort of level. Not as commanding in the air as I’d like either.

Fox 7.5 - thought he used the ball very well after an indifferent start. Really came onto a game as it progressed and an important outlet for possession in the second half. Not sure what was going on with the corners, he hit a couple into decent areas but the players had all run the other side. Maybe they were badly hit, or maybe they just need more work.

McGeady 7 - not his best game in terms of effectiveness at creating chances but I thought his contribution in holding onto possession in the second half was invaluable. He drifted in off the right flank and collected lots of passes from his midfielders which he was happy to lay off again. Not a spectacular job but sometimes the mundane is more effective than the spectacular and he played to instructions very well, assuming those were his instructions.

N’Guemo 9.5 - an exhibition in central midfield play. Broke up their attacks, got hold of the ball, passed it accurately, passed it quickly, always showed for it. Tremendous contribution.

Donati 7 - one or two small lapses that he recovered from and otherwise he was a calming influence out there. Not afraid to get on the ball from deep and his passing was sharp.

Maloney 7.5 - lively running, had their full back in trouble and was involved in most of our best moves apart from the goals. Bit sharper than last week and playing with more enthusiasm than last season.

Fortune 6 - not much went right for him but he won a few important corner kicks and throw-ins even when his control was letting him down. Battled impressively.

McDonald 7 - a bit like Fortune really but with the bonus of getting a goal. He started poorly with some poor touches but improved as it went on and his reward for holding it up late in the first half was the Hinkel cross and the well taken header.

Brown 7 - very busy up front, good touches and looked like he’d create chances for us. Strachan played Brown up front out of desparation the odd time, it was far more effective and creative last night.

Sammy 8 - what a goal son.

donati only gets a 7:eek::eek:
