I have always said it - why the fuck did Dec Ryan get so much grief? He was unbeaten in Munster in his reign and Tipp played reasonably well in one all ireland final under him. From day one tipp folk were down on him.

At this stage u d be putting an asterix after that all Ireland. Given their failure to beat Kilkenny in a meaningful game since including a flat Kilkenny last year hard to believe they d have won that all Ireland with Shefflin and Hogan playing and fit.

If Dec Ryan was holding this young team back they have gone further back since he left!

Even if you do put an asterix beside it which is retarded, how do you explain the Tipp display in 2009? I’d certainly blame the players more than Declan Ryan but that Tipp team was very good before 2012.
