Anytime I’ve heard him speak since the announcement, I just picture our millionaire EPL players giving each other looks and rolling their eyes. I hope I’m wrong but I think the inflated egos of professional soccer players will be his undoing and this won’t go well.

Surprised you never mentioned last weeks article by Eamon where he has now jumped ship and is in favour of split season.
Eamonn Sweeney would be an association football man first and foremost. It suits him to get the year’s GAA action out of the way before the Premier League returns.
