What’s the demographic attending this event in this day and age? Kids, junior GAA club players, hipsters, snowflakes, crusties and middle aged wannabe rockers pretending to be 25 years younger?
Reports of twitter coaches demanding players sell their tickets as a result of Championship next weekend. Something about doing drugs in a field in the rain in Laois not being good activation for Championship.
I see the football fixtures in your beloved Carlow all got moved to midweek to allow a free weekend for EP. Old Leighlin and Bagenalstown were still duking it out at 9.50pm on a Wednesday night. A break week completely in Wexford. Laois presumably the same as always.
I remember when Laois used not call off fixtures, it was a fucking nightmare traversing the county to get to games. They had to stop pretty quickly, it was a logistics nightmare.
Do Galway play fixtures the week of the races? Kerry during the RoT?
