Electricians

Id sell the apartment if I was you

+1

Had the same issue with an alarm which kept on chirping intermittently. Back up battery was running low

Yeah mystery half solved, it was the alarm that I’ve never set before. You’re saying it’s the battery, that half makes sense.

Thank you all very much, I no longer need the forum’s assistance.

Is your mother an electrician???

Russian hackers.

As well as being forum logistics expert I can double up for electrical systems and tv distribution systems.

Fuck sake. Amateur hour.

It’s half more than usual

We are doing up the utility room and as a result need an electrician to move around switches etc,

We got a quote for 1,350 ex VAT which seems huge.

An isolator switch for each of three appliances required plus change in each socket, Also moving of a panel required needed to control central heating.

Anyone with more knowledge than me think the quote is reasonable?

Seems mental for what isn’t a days work even…but probably doesn’t want the job

Does he need to chase walls to move the switches / panels? It sounds reasonable enough to me, if so.

That’s roughly the same as the day rate EY command for a recent graduate. Puts things into perspective, considering the service an electrician is providing.

Thanks.

I don’t think any chasing is involved.

The EY rate just demonstrates white-collar theft.
No wonder Tim riggins thinks houses are cheap.

Wait until you try to lock in a start date with him…

Tell him ‘great, when can you start?’. When he turns up then do a Jonathan Dowdall on him in the utility room, the cunt.
