Elon Musk

He ran rings around the SEC after his various instances of securities fraud with a high powered legal team stymieing the process. That said, employment law should be more cut and dried.

Poor @Massey crying about a few twitter layabouts in Dublin, and this is what they think of him.

Should Elon keep paying them even when he doesnā€™t need them?

The Burkeā€™s of Mayo failed that test.

The next time he drives on the roads, turns on the tap, boils the electric kettle, aytes a few sausages, he has Twitter to thank for it.

He also got his hole handed to him when he tried to back out of buying Twitter.

Iā€™ve no idea what situation he faces in the States but in European countries (incl Irl) employment law tends to be fairly prescriptive when it comes to firing people and the processes that you have to follow. From afar it seems heā€™s ignoring most of those

Joe Rogan, Justin Peterson, Elon Musk, Trump; these guys love their male demagogues. No wonder a powerful good looking woman like AOC threatens them. They must be closet steamers

The payouts in Ireland will be huge. If you were in there youā€™d surely have your fingers crossed to be getting the email today, like winning the lotto. Class action lawsuit in California already too.

Mate, they have legitimate concerns about the feminisation of the west.

I did see tweets today saying Irelands labour laws provided much more protection than the US but less than a lot of EU countries.

All the Galwegians seem to be be Rogan fans.

Except it is going to be very difficult to ever get back to the salary levels they were at.

Although I think the non tech economy is seeing a wage catch up.

Good. Iā€™d hate to think it was some oul cynical ploy to lure us in. Just a workin gal taking the a train home to the bronx, stopping off to pick a pail o chicken. Yesss sirree

You have to wonder what sort of stupid bastard doesnā€™t see through this shite

Thereā€™s a real cynacism and class oozing out of that. My manual and productive job is better than yours. Those people still had employment and a wage, with families and mortgages, all gone on the whim of a multi billionaire. Just because you dont agree with their job or that it doesnt contribute to your view of society doesnt make it any less tough on them.

Honestly, I couldnt give a fuck about Musk or who owns twitter or what way he plans to run it, but laying off half a work force at this time of year, whilst also in the process of charging people for what was a free social media account, just stinks to me.
