It would have cost him something like a billion to pull out of it. Me thinks that in 12 months time he may well regret not handing over that money as it could well work out to be the cheapest option.
They had an operating loss of $344M in the most recent quarter, thatâs where Muskâs $4M a day loss comment comes from.
Looking at their financials you have to conclude their management team are/were a bunch of clowns, revenue flat yoy and costs increased by 30%, including a 50% increase in R&D. In an environment where business is slowing down who the fuck adds +30% cost.
Agree on Tech, itâs getting ugly and will likely get more ugly, but thatâs the nature of the industry since 2000, boom and bust.

About 3 months before my eldest was born, some cunt of a yank lifted the phone and told me (and 28 others) to log out and hand back our devices. A full program of work scraped and nothing to replace it.

Iâd be pretty confident most of the twitter employees will get work relatively quickly. The vast majority of profitable companies are undergoing large digital transformations to make themselves more efficient. This involves large implementations of SAAS products such Workday, Salesforce, Jira, Docusign and cloud technology such as Azure and AWS.
